Fresh off of making finals at Camp Jitterbug 2024. Katie Frentress and Tristan Gomez are coming down from Portland to teach a Balboa workshop.

Balboa is a versatile swing dance that originated in Southern California in the 1930s. It can be danced to a wide range of tempos and works well on crowded dance floors. This two-hour workshop is perfect for beginning/intermediate dancers. You don't need a partner and you don't need to have prior Balboa dance experience. Participants should be comfortable with close-embrace dancing.
