Masking is encouraged but optional for Track Town Swing events.
We teach 4-week swing dance series classes. Classes are an hour long and progress week to week! Classes will be held in the Upstairs Ballroom and Upstairs Dance Studio in the Veteran’s Memorial Building. 1626 Willamette Street Eugene, OR 97401.
NOTE: Continuing Lindy Hop will be in the Dance Studio and begin at 7pm. We are making room for a Tuesday Night Swing Dance starting at 8pm!

Tuesday Nights Starting May 7th at 7 pm: Beginning Lindy Hop
This 4-week class is intended for those with no prior dance experience or dancers wanting to become reacquainted with basics of lindy hop from footwork to swing outs.
The focus of this class will be on establishing our swing dance vocabulary, building comfort with fundamental social dancing skills, and dancing to lots of music.
Class registration includes admission to the Tuesday Night Swing Dance that begins right after class at 8pm!

Tuesday Nights Starting May 7th at 7 pm: Continuing Lindy Hop
Prior Lindy Hop Experience Required.
This 4-week class is intended for dancers comfortable with swing outs, lindy circles, tuck turns, passes, and Charleston basics.
Continuing Lindy Hop is a varied level class focused on building lindy hop fluency.
Material may cover:
-Dancing to faster tempos
-Building musical understanding
-Footwork variations
-Solo jazz
-Expanding our improvisational skills
-Learning classic routines and combinations from historic clips
-Improving body awareness and becoming a comfortable and responsive social dance partner
We *highly* recommend that students with no prior Lindy Hop experience complete our Beginning Lindy Hop series at least twice through before taking this class.
